Paul - Old Time Rock n Roll - And round and round he goes on the stage! Who gave him a tambourine? For me, on par with last week. He's at least singing better.
Lauren - The Climb - Fine job. Did the song justice.
Stefano - End Of The Road - EEEK..he's looking at me!!!!! Oh wait..that's what he's supposed to do. Killing the high notes (that's a good thing.) Nice. Songs a bit fast though..doesn't help with the feeling behind it. I had real problems with the arrangement.
Scotty - Everybody's Talking - Cross My Heart - Country boy sings! consistent, good..country..huge...star... (this is really not what i enjoy though)
Casey - MORE OF THE BEARD IS GONE!!!!!!!!! NO !!!!!! - Nature Boy - In The Air Tonight - Nature Boy - (going against Jimmy Iovines thoughts) He's got an old school, jazzy part to him. Will it play to America? He's doing a great job. He's different, daring, and knows how to command the stage in a quiet way with his bass.
Haley - Call Me - (i'm going to try to be fair, I don't like her) - She puts the same..happy singing, fake growl on every dong. Ok, I tried..she's horrible!!!!!!!!! This is just grating.....The judges can't like this. Oh thank the lord it's over!
Jacob - To Dream The Impossible Dream - Bridge Over Troubled Waters - He could really blow this. Gospel...this is where he'll end up! Crossover Gospel. Not bad. Solid, heartfelt..he does show the feeling behind his singing!
James - Heavy Metal - Wow...not sure this is for Idol...he does know how to work the stage. He's got the talent though. Yes it's yelly, but he's good! Again, extended guitar solo? Might not have been the best choice. Most solid performance..no matter if you like it or not. I'm sure that was great live. Such energy.
