I had a very quick doctor's appointment this afternoon. Which means that I have another prescription renewal - good for the next three months - and I got to briefly ask about my cold.
I have sinusitis. Which I knew I had. Normally, I don't go see my doctor about this, but I've had it since last week Monday. And my doctor agreed. You have something for this long, it's wise to ask about it. The thing is, it's still probably viral. Which means that antibiotics won't do anything to kill it.
She did, however, prescribe Nasonex for me, which is anti-inflammatory. However, $40 on meds right now? Not what I was hoping to spend.
Also, should I not be better in a few days, I have the option of taking some antibiotics, which she prescribed as a last resort type thing.
Nonetheless, even after taking the meds, I'm still chilled to the bone, I'm still exhausted and I still feel like crap.
We are out of diet coke. This is a travesty.
