Posting begins for the snarry_games soon. Several members of Team Postwar have been so daring as to make comments which suggest they have a good chance of winning. I'd have to say that they're a bit delusional. ^_~
Anyway, after seeing their silly antics, I thought to join in a bit of fun. Below the cut you'll find the first verse of what I'm going to take to thinking of as Team Wartime's anthem. After all, every winning team should have a song in their honor, right?
NOTE: This "song" is set to The Star Spangled Banner. If you'll be offended to see the national anthem of the United States twisted to fit Snarry perversion, don't click the cut. This is simply a bit of silliness, not for profit and not meant to be taken seriously.
Oh, say can you see by the eerie curse light
A ship that proudly we sailed through battle's crass screaming?
Whose clawed snipes and plight scars brew the perilous fight,
while the upstarts who write are so gallantly scheming
to bring Harry's green glare, and Snape's greasy hair
to bed through the night, for a sordid affair.
Oh, say won't that Potions-Master yet cave
for a trembling plea, and a taste of the depraved?
