harvest (moon) scramble
after playing harvest moon all day (arin learned how to make scrambled eggs!), i've a deep and sudden inexplicable desire to do some cooking. ^^
...so then i decided to write it down. that is, as best i could without actually, um, measuring anything... ^^;;;
harvest moon scramble
serves two not-so-hungry people or one very hungry me!
6 eggs
dash of milk
some canola oil
3 brown mushrooms
1/5 sweet red bell pepper
fresh basil leaves
fresh parsley
fresh chives
clove of strong garlic
pinch of dried thyme
large pinch of dried basil
shake of cayenne pepper
uncounted shakes of dried dill (...5-7?)
some salt
a shake or two of black pepper
parmesan cheese
cut up mushrooms, bell pepper, and garlic (messily). Set aside. Mix eggs, milk, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, dried basil, thyme, and dill in a bowl with the eggbeater until foamy (not the squirrel). set aside. guess on amount of canola oil and put in frying pan. shred parsley and some of the basil and add to oil. add garlic. turn on stove to medium-slightly high and wait 'til it gets sizzly. add bell pepper and mushrooms. stir them around until they get softish and smell good. add egg mixture. shred and add the remainder of the fresh basil and the chives while occasionally flipping eggs. wait until eggs are not so gooey anymore, then add parmesan. remove from heat. turn off heat. all done! mmm, tasty!
for further amusement, all ye harvest moon players, try making it with only the crops that you can grow in a particular season...
now i need to make a tasty dish for powerpets! yum, slime...?
