Skipped a year! However, here comes the update for 2010...

1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before? Got engaged! Made serious plans for the future.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? No resolutions for meeeeeeeeee.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Nope!
4. Did anyone close to you die? Nope!
5. What countries did you visit? Just this one.
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010? A magical charm that means I never have to worry about anything again, but I don't think that exists just yet. Someone must invent one.
7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? November 5th, when I realized I was asking my girlfriend to marry me (and she said yes!). And July 1st.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Finally being promoted out of my admin job. Creating an engagement ring that I still think is fairly close to perfect for my girl.
9. What was your biggest failure? Communication! It is a challenge sometimes!
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Yes! Pleurisy, like a winner. I am totally counting it because it required much time staying very still and trying to keep breathing.
11. What was the best thing you bought? An engagement ring.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? My brother's; he is growing up and becoming a better man each year.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? The admin girls' bitter feud.
14. Where did most of your money go? ...buying the ring.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Allegra! AllegraAllegraAllegra. The future. Making All The Plans.

i. happier or sadder? Much happier.
ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner. This will be changed.
iii. richer or poorer? Actually-in-debt-now poorer. This will also be changed.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Gone with the flow and enjoyed the moment.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Worrying. HA.
20. How did you spend Christmas? With my Mama, my fiancee, my uncle, and my brother, and there were no arguments and it was very pleasing.

23. What was your favorite tv program? Arrested Development.
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Nope! Zennnnnnn.
25. What was the best book you read? The Temeraire series by Naomi Novik, yes that counts, you can't separate them.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery? Broadway's Carols for a Cure. You guys, there are Christmas carols out there covered so that SOUND LIKE THEY SHOULD BE IN BROADWAY SHOWS.
27. What did you want and get? Allegra. Happiness.
28. What did you want and not get? Nothing major!
29. What was your favorite film of this year? Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which was surprisingly good.

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Less drama. That would have been most excellent.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010? Still tomboy? But I have WORN ACTUAL DRESSES.
33. What kept you sane? Love, logic, tiny grumpy feline (while also driving me insane).

35. What political issue stirred you the most? Gay marriage. I don't think I've ever been so fired up about anything political before.
