I love my job
I have to say that my job is just spiffy.
"Brian! There's this keen software suite that I saw at a trade show that I want implemented in 3 weeks. No one here knows anything helpful beyond the marketing information. Good luck."
"Brian! We need to add a new server to the citrix farm ASAP. Since our citrix administrator left a month ago, you have until Monday to learn citrix. Good luck."
"Brian! Install and rack these new servers. I know we're maxed out on at least one power circuit somewhere in there. Try not to plug into any of them and blow the breakers. Sorry we don't have a map of which circuit goes to which outlets. Good luck."
Yeah.
Well, two out of three down isn't too bad. I just need to learn enough citrix to get this box into the farm seamlessly by monday, that's all.
I'm so logging the hours for this weekend. I've been nice enough to the budget in regards to recording a minimal amount of the overtime I actually put in, but I draw the line here...
Just tired. need sleep.
