The Marvelous Bee
I walked outside on this mid-morning day, to low and behold a bee stood before me.
I remembered that young I'd turn and run, but for some reason I decided to stay.
Instead I took steps forward and he took back, I still walked forward to narry attack.
This bee is my friend I say, But where are we going?
He turned and sped to which I ran in his stead.
Following jumping speeding to find where this bee was to head.
I lost track of sight to the things that surround me.
Until I've not known my place and it's just me with the bee.
He smiles.
He moves slower now seemingly beckoning me.
I gaze o'er the hill and spot the tree clearing.
And there it was.
A bee hive, full of thousands of bees.
With dripping from the bottom it's golden honey.
I asked the bee of why I'm brought here?
He said to drink of the honey, for I have no fear.
It's tasty and light just the perfect prescribed.
I look around and to more animals I find.
There are foxes and beavers and lions and eagles and people marvelous people.
I realize now that the world works with you, if you decide not to fear it.
I realize now that the universe is connected, if you connect with it.
I realize now that my life is perfect, as long as I trust it.
So on the next day I see my neighbor, Walking on this mid-morning day.
And low and behold a bee stood before him, the same that lead me.
But my neighbor turned and ran, into the bee's sting he ran.
A flurry of curses and a swat at my bee, perhaps he's learned a lesson,
just a little different from me.
