Not a bad weekend!

Originally, I had nothing at all planned this weekend, however friends stepped in and made sure that wouldn't be plan-less for long. ;) Friday, instead of staying in, I went to karaoke up in the valley, which was as fun as usual (though I'm admit I'm a bit burnt out on karaoke, which is one of the reasons I don't go as much). Saturday morning I saw Dark Knight again with hystericblue42 and sarumann, which was just as awesome as seeing it the first time. Then, I attended a free concert put on by Netflix and The Band from TV.

The concert was amazing (I'm writing up a review of it now, and a friend took hundreds of pictures, which will both be up soon). Greg Grunberg, Hayden Panettiere and Adrian Pasdar were there, as were Jessie Spencer and Hugh Laurie from House and a lot more. While it was all awesome, I'd have to say I was most impressed with Jessie Spencer on the electric violin. MAN that guy can play. He did "Devil Went Down to Georgia" without batting an eye, which is impressive in and of itself. The concert was faaaaaaaaaaaaaantastic.

Today...I ran some errands and got a turkey sandwich from Ralphs. After that...I slept for 6 hours (must've been the turkey) and watched "Dead Alive" for the first time (glad I wasn't eating while I watched it). So yeah, overall a great weekend. Next weekend is Cheesy 80's movie day if ya didn't remember as well as a trip down to San Diego to see Spring Awakening. Can't wait! :)

Hope y'all had a delightful weekend and a great week ahead.
