Welp, I finally did something that for years I said I'd never do...

I got a tattoo, my first ever yesterday, and it was freaking awesome. I went to Zulu Tattoo yesterday morning and met with Sameerah, who was awesome. After looking at pictures of the pattern and such, she put a carbon copy of the pattern itself on and then put me on a table to do the actual tattoo itself. I'll admit it hurt less than I thought it would, but it still hurt like a bitch (damned sensitive skin). I muscled through it as best I could, however, and in about an hour, this was the final result:

Many thanks go to my friend April, who not only accompanied me to keep me company and give me support, but who also took all these great pictures as well.

Now I gotta figure out what my next one will be, because I want at least one or two more. :)
