Last Dexter Episode - OMG
So last night before I crashed (I fell asleep around 8:30, missing Heroes for the second week in a row), I was able to catch the latest episode of Dexter and WOW. That was probably one of the best episodes of the season so far...
When Dexter went to meet his mother's murderer...and then didn't kill him, his face streaming with tears, I nearly lost it. When he collapsed into Lila's lap, I found myself tearing up as well. I love this character, and to see him just so emotionally wrenched for the first time ever was AMAZING. The other portions of the episode were also pretty damned good, but THAT right there was just amazing. Rita's mom decided to stay with her was just annoying (in a good way, as I really felt for Rita and the kids). The stuff with Doakes and LaGuerta was fantastic, as it really gave you insight into both of them. I also liked where Deb went this episode. Also the end where we see the camera looking down on Dexter's boat was fantastic stuff. This episode had a fantastic ending with Dexter, Rita and Deb, and I can't wait to see where the season goes from here.
So far this season has been amazing! I am so happy with this show, it's my 2nd favorite show on TV right now (only eclipsed by Supernatural). :)
