Question About 24...

Okay, so Kelly loves, loves, loves 24, and the new season premieres this Sunday night. I've never seen the show, but Kelly keeps telling me how awesome it is, so I'm debating on starting to watch it on Sunday night. Again, I've never seen the show, so my question is this...

I'm torn on your poll. I enjoyed the first season. The next season was more of the same. And lost my interest. And I really don't think it is worth watching now.

But if you enjoy this season, then you know too much about the previous seasons. So it's still a good idea to watch the earlier ones first.

That's what I was leaning towards, but I wanted to get opinions before making up my mind.

I'm kind of with urox on this.

I said "eh, jump right in" because I've become less of a fan of the show as the seasons go by, but I guess ... maybe I'll change my mind and say watch the previous seasons (or at least season 1) first because IF you really like it, you'll kick yourself for watching them out of order (or, well, you would if you were me, who doesn't like seeing things he cares about out of order).

Am I making sense? I'm pretty sure the answer is no. :)

It's a really tough call. Things have happened in previous seasons that have had major repercussions on this current season. Now I'm one of the seriously lucky bastards who has already seen the first 4 eps that will be aired on Sunday and Monday, and I can say that this season is going to be awesome!

But the way 24 has usually worked is that there are events that happen toward the end of one season that drastically affect the next season, so it might be in your best interest to watch it in order.

I feel that Season 3 is probably the weakest of all of them, but it's still one of those shows that won't let go once it's hooked you. Consider yourself warned.

I think Saruman hit it on the head. And i am very jealous you got to see the first 4 episodes dude! I've also heard nothing but good things about this season, and im really looking forward to sunday and monday nite!

hah, I think we talked about this on new years (this Mike, i had the silverish shirt)....but i disagree with your take on season 3, i think its actually one of the better ones :), 4 and 5 i thought were lacking...but thats my opinion.

Brian i bet you could get a way with watching from the beginning of this season , and then going back. But like mostly everyone has said, its better to start from the beginning.

On a side note what totally sucks is that, 24 is now competing with heroes! frak! So unless 24 really starts sucking this year..ill be catching heroes on Fridays...
