"Either he is worried that he has so much to accomplish before he can rest" - YES. I couldn't agree more. Beyond the literal sense of 'oh I have so far to go before I can go to bed', I get the feeling that this man has only just been awakened to the beauty of the natural world, hence his realisation that there is much he needs to see/accomplish before he can rest (or, stop viewing the world). Good work man!
