Sooo...my mom works for the Sheriff's Office here and knows many of the deputies. They have often said they will drive the speed limit or just below the speed limit on the highway because no one will pass them. It ends up that there's basically this wall of cars behind the deputy, and this amuses them.
Well, today, there was apparently a deputy (one I have friended on Facebook, might I add) on the highway I take to get home. He was going at 60. I didn't really notice him, because I was about to exit. I don't drive at 60; usually I'm at 65 or 70, but I had slowed down since I was exiting. I went right by him, and glanced over to see that it was a cop car, but I didn't realize it was a Sheriff's Office car.
Well, he wanted to know who just went flying on right by him and ran the license plate. My car is registered to my mom, so he saw her name and called her! He told her he'd seen my car go blowing by him!
