Been busy at work being annoyed as shit at both customers and Lakeshore itself. Le sigh. I will be glad when the sale is over. I spent nearly four hours at the register the other day. Four solid hours. Not fun. I've been sleeping like crap, because the hours they've been scheduling me at work have just been wonky. I am not, however, going to complain, because I'm no longer having to deal with only have 14 hours available to me; I am, instead, getting 40 hours, and I gratefully take them, closing shifts or not.
I'm switching programs at my school so that I will be getting my Bachelors in Interactive Media. I will also end up with my Web Design Diploma since I'm on my last class now for it. My current class is a portfolio class, which is awesome since I've been wanting to put together a portfolio, I've just had no idea how to go about it. I like the text book so far, which means I'll probably keep this one instead of returning it like I have the last several books.
I want to order The Lost Room DVDs and Picross DS, but I don't want to spend the money. It's a bit frustrating to not to want to spend the money I have, but want those things as badly as I do. I'm not going to do it though. I need to be saving money for our Louisiana trip, and also to pay Mom back for the external hard drive she bought.
We've run out of memory on the computer so she started looking into external hard drives and ended up buying two of them. She had intended to pay for them herself, with maybe a little help from me, but I think that I want a whole one to myself, so I'm going to pay her back for it. I'll finally be able to do large artworks in Photoshop and start creating things I can put into my deviantArt print account. Yay! Maybe I can swing some money off this. I only want just a little. *pouts*
Anyway. I'm tired and should be going to bed. I have to close tonight. Ick.
