Brushpen doodles, on rough sketchbook paper (left) and printer paper (right). I go back and forth on how I feel about the brushpen. It’s convenient to carry around, flows fairly well and makes some nice drybrush effects on the sketchbook paper. On the other hand, it’s like drawing with a sharpened cooked noodle compared to the springiness of a “real” brush. Certain tools make you want to draw in certain ways, and with this one I feel like I have to skate in and out of the drawing as fast as possible.
