I have literally hundreds of books. Its time to part with at least some of them.
Does anyone know a good place on line to sell them and get a decent price?
I would prefer using a place that someone here has already used.
Thanks for the help

You might remember last year I sold my house and had to clear out the junk of the last 45 years so to speak. Wife and I picked out books with family meaning of course like high school year books for my daughter etc. Basically 10 to 15 each important to us. That left 1,000+ okay maybe only 400 to 500 but it felt like 1,000 when I packed them out of there on my own.
I tried the library (they were giving away also), schools (to old), our local women's shelter took a few, maybe 50 and so on.
Our local dump which likes to be called 'Recycling Center' now days has a 'Free Store' where you can drop off decent clean stuff like furniture, kitchen stuff, basically good stuff that still had life in it but no clothes. Anyway that's where mine ended up.
The good news is for the next few weeks me the Recycling Center became close friends with me dropping off old paint cans, oil, wood, scrap metal all my 45 years of JUNK that I thought was the best shitz in the world. As I went to dump with other stuff over the next few weeks I looked in at the Free Store and most of my books had been taken. All that was left was the 'World Book Encyclopedia' from the 50's.. Here is some more ideas from my town on the right side you'll see a list of others that will take books also.. http://www.zerowastecowichan.ca/recyclopedia/products/books
Ahh well maybe someone here will have a better idea cause I ran into a 'NO BOOKS' road block when I tried to sell/give/recycle mine. My town had 2 used book shops. They would take a few on consignment after they cherry picked through them all to make sure they didn't already have 10 copies on their shelf. They would NOT take them all for free.
Good luck my friend.
