I really like how people like to make entries with barely any information in them, were only a few people understand the context of the situation, and every one has to just plow through whatever random isolated thought the person felt like expressing. I am not sure why people write about issues that stress them in their journal but not give any kind of context, I would think if you are going to write about personal issues, then it would be because you wanted to express the feelings you have about something or a situation. An update that says, "How could I be so stupid, again?!?" doesn't do much to express your feelings about anything, and isn't going to bring any closure to your life. And if you aren't looking to express yourself, then what are you doing? If not to express yourself, then it must be to inform people as to what is up with you. And how are people supposed to respond to your update if aren't willing to say anything? And if you are worried that people are reading your journal who you don't want to, then whats the point of updating at all? If you are just going to post something insubstantial, then why did you bother? Are insubstantial posts really the only way you can communicate the stresses and issues in your life with your friends?
With that said, I urge LJ users of the world to looks to the security options, and limit only friends to be allowed to see. That way you can fully express yourself and save the rest of the world the grief of having to read your insubstantial posts. Or, just don't post the personal issues you don't want random people to read, that way, you can discuss your issues personally with someone, rather then just letting them float in cyber space/ Anyway, kudos to Rosen, who, untill recently, laid it all out. So I take those kudos back from Rosen. But there is still hope, man. You can re-earn those kudos.
In other things, I hate people who play hockey just to hit people. If that is you, then please jump in front of a bus and rid the world of your ignorance.
