what in the world have i been up to?
- i finally saw farhenheit 9/11. i'm going to stick my neck out and say brilliant. from what we've been talking about in media crit, it all makes sense. we are living in a captialist, conglomerate, money driven world. sad, sick, and true. and if you don't believe any of that, you can't ignore the REAL emotion of those people. there's now that can be fabricated. the way the mother bawled in front of the white house i nearly lost it. i feel like as an american i've been fed all these lies and lived as a tool in someone else's heirarchy and plans. bullshit i say.
- 17 days until i turn 21!
- i'm so bogged down in work i don't even know why i'm typing this. it's ridiculous. i may die this semester. hopefully all will be well and i'll survive.
- dick and i started club soccer. first practice wednesday! (if we can find a place to play.) we have like 30 girls on the e-mail list w/ a majority of them being freshman. we are totally filling a void. bad ass.
- instead of coming for parent's weekend, i'm probably going to meet my mom in chicago the first week in november! beautiful!
-next sunday for an informal we're going to king's island! so basically i get to go to an awesome amusement park and play alll day long for FREE! wooooo!
-i ate dairy castle tonight and it was good. (g-castle's version of dairy queen.)
- sit got my application last week. so two weeks and i'll know if i got into the program! and that basically means i'll know tons more about the program, etc! yay! the last week i've felt depauwed out. the break off campus will be right about perfect. something totally completely different, then i'll come back for senior year and still have some appreciation of it.
-i'm trying to find an internship for winter term. not easy between all the other STUFF i've been doing.
-playing im football with the pi betas! so much fun! we're ridiculously competitive! but darn good! we're 4-0 and we've only had ONE touchdown scored on us. believe it i play on the line and it's the best thing ever.
