MoMA is now my most favorite place on earth
I went to the Museum of Modern Art and it was super-duper hot. I had no idea I could get in free, and I also had no idea that they have such a great collection of every interesting piece of modern art ever. I was running around, being like "I know and love that piece! But I know and love that piece more! BUT I KNOW AND LOVE THIS PIECE MORE!!!" And everyone there was gay or from France, it was utopic.
My friend kelly and I brought some wine to school and worked on our term garments. Mine is looking awesome and I can't wait to post pictures of it. It's a little tiny jacket with a big standing shawl collar. I'm doing it in cream italian velvet with silk lining. I also have to make a dress to go underneath it, but I haven't started on that yet. The dress is going to be mid-thigh length with a risque slit up one side, a deep v-neckline and a hood. I'm using opaque cream cotton jersey. Oh, I suddenly remembered why I'm at school!
