In my neverending quest for the holy grail of music, I stumbeled upon the swedish europop group Bodies Without Organs. There's one small part on one song that verges on 50% of musical perfection, but my new nemesis EMI has thwarted my attempt to consume and love this tid-bit of auditory orgasm. I waited ONE WHOLE MONTH for the country of sweden to finally export my CD, raced up the stairs with it when it arrived in the mail, ripped open that box and what is this: Copy Controlled? I didn't like the sound of it and with good reason, when I tried playing it with iTunes it was riddled with pops and skips and scratches and ten kinds of knasties. I did extensive reasearch on this "Copy Control Technology" and learned that EMI and other big record labels are being bitches and making it impossible to take music from a CD, even if you've bought it and want to enjoy the music on your pretty ipod. I'm now at war with EMI and Sony and all those other little kids and will now look to file sharing for all of my music enjoyment. Does anyone have an suggestions?
