lucy
i live in a quaint 3 bedroom apartment on a small road near a little grocery market. i rode the subway today; i'll be doing it much more.
there are two friendly cats that live with me, and lucy is my favorite. she is an older, fluffy orange kitty. she follows me from room to room, unless of course she's sleeping. i've been feeling pretty alone..... well, i actually am alone. i don't know anyone here, except my roomates (who are very sweet) and jenna in brooklyn. but lucy is making me feel right at home.
i got a bed tonight. i get to sleep in a bed. fuuuuck yes. i also got a fan too, which i stole from the basement. there is an amazing basement that is like a dungeon with bikes, bowling balls, and all sorts of things. i found an old tape collection with tons of mix tapes. i'm going to give them my full attention sometime soon. i'll most likely mail natalye one of the coolest. they actually look like the tapes that doug used to make for her, with pieces of magazines on the outside. i can't believe someone left them behind.
i'm slowly getting adjusted and acquainted. i know it will take time. but i'll get through it. this boy has left the nest; it's time to spread my wings.
