Hmm.... Might not be just you. I took out a lot of "um"s & "like"s, but maybe he's just not super-articulate, & it may have been his first interview & he seemed kinda nervous. I dunno.
More people might know about him than you think: he's kept his skills up & still has the occasional good photo in mag's, & had a good part in the latest Firm video (which was crazy). I think Tom Groholski & Chris Sims are among the forgotten. I think kids prob'ly hear established pros' appreciation of Jason Lee's style & innovations enough to realize, e.g. everyone knows Ed Templeton, & Mike Vallely, & they're pretty vocal about kinda coming up w/ him & seeing him be one of the first to adapt freestyle tricks to street-skating, etc. Plus "Video Days" is still famous. I guess kids know, but you know they don't REALLY know he was mind-blowing, but I can't quite blame 'em w/ amateur teens doing kick-flips to frontside feeble down 14-stair handrails these days.
I have a big envelope full of old stickers too! That's pretty nerdy. I should sell 'em on eBay.

No, I don't know Marcus, but I've heard his name.
