I only had enough time to check a little of this out, but I can't believe how good it is.

Thanks for the link! I'm the guy whom runs Time Cube Central. Glad to know there's people who appreciate true insanity. Take care,

Ha, ha. Thank you, Mr. James! Are you affiliated w/ Mr. Ray at all? I wonder what he thinks of the site.

I've only met "Dr." Ray once, but what a meeting it was! He carries around a clear plastic cube... if that tells you anything. Fortunately I didn't catch any aroma'-de-urine. Actually kind of a nice guy, until you get him talking Cubic.

I'm not affiliated in any way with his site (www.timecube.com), though it has always held a certain twisted fascination for me, hence Time Cube Central. Call it a demented hobby... Truthfully though, Gene doesn't much care for the site. He used to, years ago, but since tried to have it shut down for copyright infringement or something, (???). Hey, if you get board sometime there's usually some strange discussions going on in the CubeForum. Drop by. The hardest part is maintaining the facade that we defend the Time Cube for all the newbies & lurkers. Thank god we don't all have webcams... I couldn't keep a straight face:-)

Cheers,
Brian James

Is it hard to get him off the subject of the Time Cube?

I was disappointed w/ his site, in that straight out of the gate he calls us stupid & evil for not understanding his ideas, but I didn't even find on his site where he presents his ideas. Just pure, crazy rambling.

I almost pissed my pants listening to some of the radio shows. Big fun. I love it. Sometimes I catch myself wondering if it's kinda sad, or mean to make fun, or if maybe there's something to it that we're missing. I think it all over & double-check, & realize..."Nope". :) Does he ever wonder if he could be wrong? He does seem polite enough of nice enough, but the fact that he seems to consider anyone who disagrees w/ him to be "evil" is the clencher to me that he's pleasantly out of his tree. Poor bastard. ::Squeee!::

Hard to get him off the subject of TC? Well, the short answer is YEP! About the only way to get a word in edge-wise is to lean your head to the right while speaking:-) You'd still be stupid and evil though... That's always been part of the attraction of Time Cube for me: he never does explain what the heck it is. I just enjoy pondering the possible meanings of such infamous gems as "You word-murder your children", and my personal fave "-1 X-1 =+1 is stupid and evil", that keep me coming back ( ... )

Yeah, I too love how he seems to repeat his tangents word-for-word in every interview w/out really explaining himself or even answering people's questions. I wonder how he got on his kick, like if someone slipped him some L.S.D. or something w/out him knowing it.

Your feeling is very correct. I adore lucid dreaming, but haven't done it enough, especially in the last few years. On at least one level, my experiences of something like "alien abduction" may've just been sleep paralysis. I've definitely had sleep paralysis since then w/out panicking & it was a whole different experience. I think it's a complex subject, really. I used to experiment w/ the NovaDreamer & the Course in Lucid Dreaming from lucidity.com. I should bust that stuff out again. Will it help me understand the Time Cube? :P

Something else along similar lines--it's attributed w/ inducing "alien abduction" & other mystical experiences of "sensed presence"--is the Shakti Helmet. Ever check that out?

I too own a NovaDreamer. In fact I hardwired mine to my PC. I wrote a program called LISA (Lucidity Induction System for Audio) which used the Nova’s trigger output to trigger playback of a pre-recorded WAV file through a set of sleep-friendly stereo headphones I called “BedPhones ( ... )

Sounds very cool! Can you describe the "BedPhones" s'more? That sounds like a great idea. Is anything like that on the market currently?

Hopefully soon I'll get what amounts to a skateboarder's qabalah-ish ascetic system online. Now THAT will be popular! :/

Sweet! What exactly do you have in mind?

-You know some time ago I was thinking about attributing skateboard tricks to the Tree of Life, but I never got around to it. Would fakie tricks be on the Nightside or inverted tree? Or would that be switch?
