Off the hook
for a while at least.
I went in for my MRI on tuesday. I started crying in the waiting room and since the xray tech people found that unusual, they called clinic and ordered up some morphine for me. So good ole' Nurse Kenna brings up seven mg of morphine and DRUGS ME UP before laying on the MRI table. It was the weirdest feeling ever. I have never had that much morphine in me at once. then I had to back to clinic cuz Doctor Hilliard wanted to see me. So we went down to clinic where they just ended up admitting me to the hopital again. Which I guess is ok b/c the next day I was going to be admitted for chemo. Well they gave me a drug called Torodol from the Motrin family only much stronger and it took my leg and lower back pain away. I could actually function for the first time in weeks. It was great. Only one problem...I can't be on any drug with aspirin in it for over 5 days b/c it could cause bleeding when my counts start dropping this week. They lowered me down to the weaker version of just Motrin for now, but it still has to be stopped by Sunday.So just pray that my leg pain doesnt return.
I've had a pretty good appetite the past few days, but still I've been nausiated...I know it makes no sense.Ignore me.
I got a wonderful surprise from the school via Mr.Revel on Wednesday. A basket full of candy, cards, fruit, lotion, and a book. I thought that was so nice. I started rubbing the lotion on me right away b/c for some reason every inch of my skin has decided to peel off. It's weird.
Well treatment has exhausted me and I have no strength left in my fingers to type, so I guess I'll talk to you later.
