Tubesday: Election Edition

Only seems fitting to point out some election-themed links.
  • Barack Obama - I’ve sent my vote his way. The more I’ve read and the more I’ve researched, I can’t see myself voting any other way. Between his increasingly hard right shift, his horrible selection for VP, and general change in conduct over this campaign, I can’t in good faith vote for ( Read more... )

Those tears from Obama I am sure are real, but he had no issues throwing his mother under the political bus to score points.

Kudos to you Brian! Those are a great set of links, a few of which I had not seen yet. Something you might wanna add- google maps is doing a live election map of the US as precincts report in so you can see who is winning what as it happens. Bishma linked it in Twitter.

I hadn't seen that photo of Obama. His grandmother must have passed right as he was leaving Jacksonville, because he didn't bring it up at all in the rally ysterday, and I saw the news when I got home. That's so sad. :( Especially one day before he (hopefully) wins the election.

Goodness, you got up before the sun to go vote? Sir, I applaud you. There are days when I don't want to get up in the middle of the afternoon to go to work!
