Merry Christmas from warm and sunny Tucson!!
Hehe had to rub that one in. Anyways! Today was great! Got up about 8:30...a little earlier than usual haha. Kinda sat around for a bit...then Dad read the Christmas story from the Bible...then stocking time! It's great trying to get the stuff out of our stockings...the yarn catches on it. I've had my stocking since my first Christmas. After that we opened gifts. I do believe my two favorites were the warm and cozy blankets I got from my two big sisters. Rachel and Nicks is soo pretty and sparkley light blue and Nik's is purple and yellow (Olivet Colors!!!) and homemade! At the moment I am cuddling with both haha. Then we had egg cassorole for breakfast...another tradition. For dinner is klusky...a growing tradition. I have to admit that the food is prolly one of the best parts to Christmas...especially when its one of the best Polish dishes out there...and made by Nikki! Yesterday they made perroggi...not sure how that one is spelled but it was delicious! I came home on my break and watched them make them for a bit. Now we are all just chillin and watchin basketball.
Work yesterday was crazy! I never realized how many people eat FAST FOOD on Christmas Eve...at least go to a frikken formal resaurant...it's Christmas Eve! But we closed at 5:30 so that was nice. And I got to be the floater...I went from steamer, to drive, to back up, to closer. It was weird closing lobby in the daylight. Devilan came up with the conclusion that we must hang out sometime soon haha. Teddy's brother used the stupidest pick-up line on me...and I quote "I don't want you to think I'm hitting on you, but how did you get so beautiful?" Yea, I todl him it was crappy and to try harder next time. Either way, I'm not impressed by the druggie. I took Devilan home...it was fun to watch him sit in my tiny car...his head literally touched the roof and his legs were all cramped up haha. Ah good times. \
Well, I hope your Christmas season was as interesting and fun as mine! Happy New Year!
