1) it doesn't have the same "ring" to it. A friend of mine calls these "scare quotes." They draw the attention of the reader to the fact that whatever's contained within them has more semantic depth than without.

2) As if that's not enough, Do not read anything into "ring." Seriously.

This is like saying, "Don't think of an elephant." What's the first thing ANY mind is going to think of - not just the tiny female mind.

3) I had higher expectations for YOU. No, you didn't. Either a) you know exactly what the reaction would be in our tiny little brains and were carefully stirring the waters esp. knowing Justin will be seeing the post, or b) the little tiny brain is decidedly male and has the initials "BK" (for "Big Kock" of course) on it. So, which option is it?

I can't believe that you would mention Toronto and rings in the same sentence. What are we supposed to think seeing that you could (if you wanted to)get legally married here. And then to threaten your bitches. Shame on you. You know we can't rein in our imaginations. So I won't say anything more(but you can't stop me thinking it and Jan and I will probably discuss it too).
