Instead of spreading my charm all over the place in response to several inquiries stated in the last post, I'll conserve energy and kill several birds with one posting/stone HERE instead ( Read more... )

I trust you to know best and to look after Justin just as I trust him to look after you.

As it looks like you are in this for the long term, a slightly more relaxed atmosphere would be beneficial for both of you. Don't forget to look after yourself too.

I am glad you are going to have an opportunity to go to New York, in October, with Justin. Will Peter spend the weekend with Claire while you are away?

Define "long term."

Better yet, DON'T.

Peter might come with us. He'd probably like NYC. Depends on his other options.

Long term can be a few weeks, months, years or decades - your choice- I purposely left it vague. Seeing that you and Justin have been together in an on-again, off-again arrangement for over 5 years, I think that qualifies, by any one's standards, as long term.

Have a good time a Babylon.

Well, you seem to have Justin covered in more ways than one. Are you feeling semi-protective? I'm sure he appreciates it.

I think I missed this so thanks for letting us know how he is.

So are you anticipating the cocktail party Friday and scoping out all of Justin's instructors and friends?

I have no great interest in Justin's school chums. Naturally they will all want to fuck me (even the ladies), but he might object on some grounds or other, so I will merely sit in the back of the room keeping my mouth shut and my hands to myself.

Less drama. I'll drink to that.

To wit: Justin is FINE.

I love it: Justin blueprints and you hammer. I cracked up reading the progression on my flist.

In point of fact, you are all playing right into Justin’s hands, in his bid for attention and sympathy. So STOP IT

BUT ATTENTION/SYMPATHY = LOVE. However, I'm fairly fucked up about love, so fine, I have no problem following the command of the ban!hammer.

Justin was stressed out of his tiny gourd (the only thing about the lad that is tiny)

Actually, isn't his gourd bigger than yours?

the man who drives him absolutely crazy (and not always in a positive, life-affirming way).

Heh. No shit.

A caveat, of course, is that that control exists within the parameters of being partners with ME. Which is not always easy (or so I am told); so maybe I'll cut him a little slack when he acts crazy; and maybe you all can do the same.Don't be coy, you know you're a tough bastard. And that's good for the most part, but hard to deal with a lot. Rubbing up against you in LJ comments can be pretty damn tough. I know, rubbing ( ... )

Very few gourds are larger than mine. Long Dong Silver being an exception.

It's good to see that you're trying to "understand" Justin. He, like many college seniors, seems to be trying to figure out "what's next". I live with a college senior and sometimes wonder which personality will show up when we chat or visit.

Just because Justin is a little older (not a lot) than most of the other seniors in his classes doesn't make it any easier to think about how to fill the days productively when school is over.

These "artsy" types are tough to deal with...they all have a bit of DQ in their personalities...not that any of us are immune.

He can plan how to fill his days productively. I'll take care of filling his nights.
