MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mar 20, 2006 21:36

So I believe the last time I wrote in this was around Christmas, but I've been really busy lately, but I hope to start writing more often.

I feel rather calm right now. After today, I no longer have as much of the stress that was with me lately. Today in A.P. History, my group and I gave a 45min. presentation on World War II. I was so nervous about it, considering I was up until 1:30am last night working on it. I think we did pretty well on it, and thank God it's over now!!! Also, we had to dress up and wear a tie and it sucked having to war that all day.

Also, I didn't realize that we were presenting on another important day, my birthday!!! So today was my Birthday, and yes, I am officially 16. It was a good day. I got lots of Happy Birthday wishes from my friends at school, as well as some "cards" from my "special ed." (inside joke) friends in Geometry.

After I got home I immediately changed into normal clothes. I sat and relaxed and took it easy until my Grandpa came over to return some DVD's to us that he borrowed and to give me my Birthday present. He paid for me to take Driver's Training. It was really nice of him, and I'm very thankful that I have him in my life.

After Grandpa left, my Mom, Grandma, and Lauren and I met Aunt Shawn, Uncle Dave, Jon, and Rachel at Olive Garden for dinner to celebrate my birthday (for those of you who care, David wanted to come, but he had to work!). We all ate, and I got a book (The Case for Easter), a bookmark, and a keychain from Aunt Shawn. Afterwards, we all went back home for Cake and Ice Cream and they all played Karaoke on X-Box, while I watched and set them all up.

Overall, it was a good day. I can't wait til my family and I celebrate my birthday with all of my aunts and uncles. I have a few ideas of what I want, but I'm not positive.

Hopefully, the rest of the week will be good too. Tomorrow I get a break from the stresses of school for a Yearbook Conference all day at the Zoo. However, that does mean I'll be with Vivian all day and if you know what I've been going through lately, you'll know what that means. But it will be good. I'm excited about that - they're unvieling Yearbook Avenue 2.0 tomorrow!! (yea, I know, I'm a nerd, but I'm editor-in-chief next year so it don't matter!!)

Anyways, Thanks to everyone, my friends, David, my group, and last but not least, my family for making my birthday a good one! Being that this was my first birthday without my Dad, it was kinda hard, but I was allright. So thanks to you all again! You are all the world to me!
