I knew a vote for Kerry in 04 would lead to the same Washington in 08. [McCain and Kerry are practically the same candidate] I knew my vote for Bush in 04, would give us fresh politics in 08. We got just that, Ron Paul and Barack Obama, hell even this really bizarre side effect.. Palin. And I must say, I totally predicted Obama would run back in 04. =]
And for those that think Ron Paul lost, he hasn't. He did exactly what he intended to do. I believe because of him Libertarians are able to stay on the North Carolina ballot because they collected enough votes.
This "Yes We Did" mantra needs to stop. We haven't did shit but elect a Representative. "Yes we Can" should remain, besides if anything, it should now be "Yes we Will"
I elected Obama for his logical/rational/intellectual abilities, but mainly his social polices. It's his fiscal ideologies I'm nervous about. This country is fiscally confused. Do we align ourselves with the European Union or stand apart?
I downloaded Obama's book and I've been listening to it. He calls himself as skeptic as I do, and brings up a couple of times "non-believers" I actually exist to a politician?
