Testing 1, 2, 3.. *coughs* CAN ANYONE HEAR ME?!
Sorry, but with my recent posts and not a single comment I have to wonder. I try to comment on everyone's posts when there's something that I can say. Unless the post is directed at certain people or some topic I'm ill-equipped to comment on. Which DOES indeed happen. But I haven't heard from anyone in ( Read more... )

Sorry. Only excuse I have is that my insomnia gets steadily worse and worse, and I can't seem to type anything coherently. It's hard enough for me to comment when I'm not tired, as I'm not really that good with words. But now? It seems to take 10 minutes just to write a simple comment like this. Honestly, I just can't conecntrate. I've found myself checking LJ not as often as I used to. I skim any posts longer than a few paragraphs. And more than once I've started typing a comment to someone's post and given up in the middle because it just takes too much effort. So if it's any comfort, it's not only you-- it's pretty much everyone on my flist. :\

That's ok. I understand. It was great of you to comment this time. ^_^ I know you've been seriously under the weather lately. *hug* I hope you feel better soon. I've felt the same way, drained and unable to concentrate that is.. What I do for commenting is I leave a comment-in-progress, get off the computer for a bit, maybe nap and then come back and work on it. Maybe that would help? Or maybe you just need a break from the computer. I've taken little hiatuses before, they can help sometimes. And when you come back I'll be around like the rest of your friends to welcome you back. I'm the kind of person that holds out long-term for my friends when they take some time off.

Hope you get better soon, and thanks again.
Brian

Thing is, I don't take naps. Ever. If I have a nap, I'm pretty much guaranteeing that I wont get ANY sleep that night.

And the hiatus thing? Believe me, I'd love to get away from the computer. Problem being I have no way of doing this. I haven't been able to get together with my friends for probably around 4 weeks now. First it was the iron-deficiency thing, now people are just away visiting relatives and stuff.

And the only options I have for things to do at home are: Read, draw, watch TV and use the computer. Reading is good, I've been doing pkenty of that. Drawing... actually, that involves the computer as well seeing as I primarily do digital artwork. As for TV... I just don't watch. Sometimes I do, but only on very rare occasions. it just doesn't interest me. So yeah, computer + reading are pretty much my only options :P

Wow, sounds like you've got a strict biological sleep schedule. :/ Maybe you wouldn't have to nap, but maybe a taking a break from a comment would still help ( ... )

I've tried taking breaks. it's even worse when I return, because then I've usually lost my train of though :\

I've considered 3D art for about all of 5 seconds before dismissing it. For one thing, I just don't find it all that pleasing to the eye. It's just not my thing. Plus, I'm not good with really complicated things like that. Hell, when I'm drawing I don't even use more than one layer 'cause I find that too complicated.

Also, it's one of those things that probably takes years and years to get really good at, and quite frankly, I can't afford to spend that time. I need to work on my drawing skills instead.

What I have been considering playing around with in my spare time is a little sculpting. I'd like to try making beads out of Polymer clay. Something like these. I just have to somehow get a ride to like, the ONE craft store we have in this town to see if I can find some...

Ugh, I hate it when that happens. >_< So annoying trying to get back on track again. I usually have to do a fair bit of re-reading ( ... )
