Update.

Well, day 2 of work I felt so sick I called in. Turns out I may have had a massive panic attack, if so then I'd say it was several that came on one right after the other. I kept waking up in cold sweats, feelings groggy and really vomitous. Didn't puke but came awfully close I think.

Day 3 was no work, just testing. Yano, my interests, skills in math, spelling and reading. I missed only 1 thing on the reading one. It was a word I'd never seen before, like about 1/4 of them, but the pronunciation got me in the last bit. "doche" I said "doe-sh", it should've been "doe-shay". So I was really close, just missed the non-silent "e". I know I missed some on the math, and there were some problems I didn't even learn about in HS, Like logarithms. Then there were the interest tests and such. Tedious and repetitive.
The tests then moved on to physical tests. Dexterity, problem-solving, hand-eye coordination, etc. I did pretty well on all but a couple of those tests. The staff member kept commenting on how fast I was. I guess it must be true because 1 time she wasn't there to stop her stop-watch from timing me, luckily another staff member happened by who was able to do it. The staffer who was testing me thought she had at least another 2 minutes before she had to check on me.;) And I finished all of her tests early. Like 3:18 pm, so I was able to go home early. ^_^

I work again on Tuesday, not looking forward to it, but I'm trying to take a friend's advice and keep a positive outlook about it.

I managed to stay awake long enough to go out last night. I was really hoping to see some more people I knew out. I didn't run into anyone from my class but I did run into an old aquaintance from choir, Max. Nice guy and at least back then a skilled tenor. I dunno if his voice deepened or not, speaking voice sounded about the same. I found out that his sister is one of the workers at WCI. I honestly had no idea that Danni was his sister. That was pretty cool to learn. We chatted a bit, then I started getting tired of waiting to see if anyone else would show up so I left. I drove around a bit, sliding on the slippery roads. We had rain-sleet-snow last night and even with 4x4 there was a lot of sliding going on. Much of the snow is melting today. :( But it might be a semi-white Christmas at least.

I had a few things I wanted to do today, but I'm not sure about taking the little car out. Dad took the Exploder down to Milwaukee, my uncle's got a bleed in his stomach and he was feeling dizzy so he was apparently "bleeding out" as Dad put it. In other words, he's running out of blood. The stuff that can sort've help him is apparently in Milwaukee and since my uncle couldn't reach his sons he asked Dad to take him. I hope the trip went ok, they've been gone for about 5 hours and it's only about a 2 hour trip each way.

Then again, the roads have been plowed, so maybe it'll be ok. Dad's lil TC is definitely NOT a Winter car. But it can do alright in light weather, and if you're careful.

I guess that's about it. At least for now. To those who wanted Christmas cards, I'll get those out next week I think. Since not everyone is going to be home right around Christmas. I hope that's ok.
