There's this special on Fox News Channel right now about the increases in costs of college, and are they worth it?
One thing that was shown, was that in the last 25 years, the costs to go to a 4 year college have increased by OVER 500%!! Some colleges charging 30, 40, even $50,000+ for just ONE YEAR! Ok, I guess I knew that already. But STILL! With as much schooling as you need to get into a good job/career, is it freakin worth what you get? What do some of you college grads think of your experience with college? Was the education worth the price?
The governments, both federal and state give colleges a combined amount of at least 150 BILLION dollars a YEAR!
They're interviewing this guy who wrote the booke, "Going Broke by Degree". Sounds like a good read. This guy says about $1 out of every $3 goes into the teaching. This is REALLY interesting!
