SGA fanfiction
This is my first LJ entry and it’s mainly random thoughts about SGA fanfics and it serves as a kind of introduction.
I have this LJ account for several months now and I actually never intended to use it for anything else but leaving signed comments on others’s LJ entries, mainly fanfic reviews. But as I started to print out another SGA fanfic this morning I realized that I found a lot of great stories following links from other’s LJ entries. I read a lot of fanfics and I thought that I’ll post entries occassionally with links to the fics I’ve read. In that way I’ll have all the links to fics I enjoyed in one place, plus if somebody happens to stumble across this LJ looking for fics to read, they’ll find here a lot of links eventually.
SGA fandom is the only one I’m in and I don’t have the intention of ever getting into another one. Besides not having the time, no other TV show affects me emotionally as deeply as SGA.
I found fanfiction.net accidentally one and a half years ago. Since then not a day went by that I haven’t read something there. It still surprises me, amazes me and makes me very happy that there are so many talented writers.

But oh my, her descriptions of John Sheppard are amazing. The story is very interesting too, but it should be said that these fics are parts of a bigger story and to completely understand it one should start with reading her oldest story first.

She’s an amazing writer. Her stories are intense, the characters are spot-on, and it pulls the reader in immediately. This one is a wonderful Ronon-Sheppard friendship story.

Another favorite writer of mine. She has awesome AU stories. This one is a beautifully written, sweet and sad story, about what would happen if John was presumed dead but he’d suddenly arrived back to Atlantis after two years.
