I forgot to mention, several buddhas are in Toronto, today and tomorrow only:

Go see them! After they tour around the world, they will be encased in a huge statue, which "will last a thousand years." Of course, this just makes it extra obvious where all the sacred relics are, so the next mean and nasty bunch of people can smash it to bits, but that will be just like old times for most of these relics, which were in statues in Tibet until Mao had them all obliterated. And considering Buddha said not to make images of him...
Anyway, it's worth going to see the relics, and you can decide for yourself what they mean to you. You can also get a blessing from the big famous Buddha. I always think you can't get too many blessings.
