Yeah. Losing my serger made me mad, because they're expensive and it might be a while before it's enough of a priority to get another one, but it's just a thing, so it wasn't too bad. Losing my great-grandmothers' things made me mad too, but really, they would have spent most of their lives in a box, being heirlooms, not being used, so I just can pretend I still have them in a box in storage somewhere. I'll survive. But books.... there were plays in there with my notes, from when I was in them! There were poetry books where I could locate my favourites in seconds, philosophy books that opened my mind, French books that I can only find in English, books about English whose authors I can't remember... Waah! They're my old friends; having them stolen felt more like a kidnapping.

Yeah, I haven't posted anything in a while... I've been working ten hours a day, and that plus travel time equals I don't want to play on the internet much. But it's good to know they haven't kicked me off LJ. I've been planning on writing something for a while - maybe if I get a day off sometime.
