Of all the irrational numbers, you are the most intense. By nature you are powerful, although sometimes you can spiral out of control. You are good with money; the interest seems to just compound whenever you are near. When someone uses the word "exponential" they are probably talking about you.

Me too! Thank you. It's the first one I've tried in a while. It's reminded me (again) of how much I love math, and how much it hurt to wipe that part of me out, in order to survive (high school... blechhh... there's a reason why I'm not going to university right now, even though it was all I wanted for my entire childhood).

It's also instigated some thinking about some of the things I want to do with my life, regarding education. First, I want to relearn everything I wiped out, or couldn't use, or was frustrated by the whole time because it was taught so apallingly badly. Second (or at the same time, but second in the list), I am going to write it down in a coherent manner, in the way I fantasise about having learned it in an ideal childhood. Math, science, history, english, whatever. I now have the resources and the emotional wherewithal to do it. I even have people to work with who do have university educations (credentials and more complete knowledge), who can help me with the learning and checking for accuracy. Smart people, who can teach things in a useful way, instead of just throwing stuff in a pile and expecting you to figure it out if you want to badly enough, or at least just memorise it for the exam. *shivers* School shouldn't be like that.

I want your help with this too. You're a smart person who has experienced the hell of school, and you remember being little. I think you also know what learning is for - fun, growing, trying new things, etc. I will come get you when I've got my questions organised, and I have someplace coherent to put the answers, but in the meantime, if you are in the mood, I would love to hear anything you have to say on the topic.

(This is written for xophylia, but it also goes for anyone else reading this who identifies with the feelings I've just mentioned.)
