what a weekend
I had a good day on Friday! Got the last few things done for my internship before setting EVERYTHING into stone. Then got to put in my almost 5 hours in the training room later that day. I got to perform several ultrasounds (yes, it is like what you would get if you were pregnant but this is for rehabilitation purposes), just 1 ice massage, then I got to drive the golf cart again out to baseball practice. Then we had about 2 hours with just a couple athletes coming in who knew what they were doing so I took the time and re-did the summer camp calendar since it was made with no logical thought it seemed like. The trainer came in and gave me kudos for that I guess you could say. He is also happy to have a "techie" on board since he and computers don't really get along. After that, I headed to the westside.
Went to the Puyuallup Spring Fair on Saturday with my mom, sis, and nephew. I had a great time there with my 2 and ahalf year old nephew, I was his human play thing again and went on a few rides with him and got him buckled into the kiddy rides. Then, we all thought it would be fun to have me take him into a fun house. I did.....
The first part was a maze of glass. Well, we started out good, he got the hang of it to put your arms out so you can see feel where there is glass. So far so good, right? Then he saw the end of it and just took off and let go of my hand pretty quick then just WHAM! he hit a glass wall (plexi-glass, not plain glass). He took a step back and jsut started screaming of course. I don't really have the best patience in the world for screaming kids so I picked him up, he was okay and we moved on. I am still laughing just thinking about the lil guy LOL About 2 min or so later, he was fine and wanted me to take him on another ride. :-)
My cousin had his b-day dinner last night so I got to see the rest of my family again. Sounds like my 2 cousins are going to come hang out with me sometime over here next month which I am looking forward to. I am hoping that my old roomie has an ultimate fight in May like what she was hoping because my cousins really want to see her fight.
