I just got offered and up front job as an aerobics instructor for next quarter. OMG!
Surprised the crap out me but I had to turn it down.
1) I already have a job with maxed out hours next quarter
2) I am not in shape enough to do 3 days per week of 50 minutes of very vigorous straight exercise. (plain vigorous exercise on my own yes--no doubt about that...but adding in cues, alignment, proper form, variations, skill levels, and remembering all of that PLUS the routines--hells no!)
3) I took the only class that teaches the extreme basics of teaching a group fitness class. To get more skilled at it you have to get certified and I don't feel like putting out $350 to get trained when I won't be happy doing it.
4) My schedule is going to be crazy as it is, I wouldn't even be able to fit it in.
So yeah, surprised me!! I was asked to talk to people in my major who could do it cause they are in desperate need of an instructor for Wildcat Wellness Hour next quarter.
