Home for the Holidays
I'm home now and I'm pretty content. My dog freaked out when I walked in the door and I freaked out too hugging her. I love her soo much! I'm unpacked and got my computer set up in my room and all. Its so nice to be able to download music!!!! (thanks to montevallo firewall we cant...). I've downloaded so many songs I've been waiting to download! =) Don't give me any crap about downloading music.but you know you do it too or have... =P
It was great taking a shower and not having to wear shower flip-flops! Also having room to move around since the showers in hanson aren't even skinny-people friendly. And of course the great water pressure nearly knocked me to the ground ha. I havn't been sleeping good for about the past 5 nights, so maybe tonight being in my own big bed I will sleep fine.
Another good thing about being home: my dad cooked my dinner tonight! And I can finally listen to band's music My Space. Thanks to the University again they have it blocked. So I'm able to now listen to Daniel Bashta's "with everything" song that is the "theme" song for my profile.
Learned an interesting fact tonight. My mom was sitting on my bed and I was downloading Christmas songs to burn a CD for her kids to listen to in her classroom and she saw the song "take me home country roads" on my i-tunes. And she asked me about it and I was told her I loved that song, and she told me it was her mom's favorite song because that was where she was from "west virginia". I thought that was really cool I dunno. Anyways then she proceeded to tell me John Denver wrote that song and never had even been to west virginia. ha.
Tmrw's game plan? Get up and go walking on the trail. Cleaning stuff outta my room. Then going with my dad tmrw night to get a new laptop for our house. Exciting! Then going to the Galleria to get a few things. I love shopping with my dad, its the best!
