It's now been a month or two since I bought my HTC desire (Love the device!), so here's me going away on all the apps I use. One of the nice things about Android is that everything is customizable, so I guess your milage may vary.

I've only been using the Desire for 1,5 day, so it hardly counts. I've been using some of the preinstalled apps (like HTC Peep for Twitter, Task Manager for killing apps) I'm not really a Facebook user, but the HTC FriendStream app puts Twitter and Facebook updates into one timeline.

The Dropbox app is awesome, as now I can just directly access stuff that's in my folder between my computer, laptop and phone :D

I'm using the Dr. Web virusscanner, though I haven't used it yet. Mostly based on how much the Dr. Web Live CD has helped me in the past, so it's a kind of familiarity/loyalty sort of choice.

I'm also using a battery widget that shows exactly what percentage I'm at, and allows me to kill Wifi, GPS and Bluetooth with one button as well as adjusting the brightness of the display.

Appie is seriously the best app name ever. :D

I quickly found the Desire overheating when I was charging it, but it turns out I had a crapload of apps open I had to kill with the task manager. Killing apps as soon as I'm done using them has already become a habit now. And using *#*#4636#*#* to check the battery and temperature.

What I can't find, though, is how to just close/quit an app when you're done. I go back to the homescreen or use the 'previous' button. But there's no 'close' anywhere. So I have to use a task killer/manager.

And being a klutz, I made a folder in one of the homescreens - except now it's named Folder and I can't rename or delete it and it's just sitting there, being useless. c_c;

Day 3, still no Froyo...
