It's a child playing games. ...It just happens to be a spirit now.

I'm okay. I wonder why it was being mean, I would've played with it if it just asked.

Something's happened to them. I think...maybe the longer the spirits are here, the more tainted they become.

[breyley]

What do you mean?

[fluttersky]

It's still playing games that a child would enjoy. But it's being harsher about it than a child would be. Almost cruel, like it enjoys hurting us.

But then I started thinking about it. If I were one of the ghosts, maybe all of us living here would make me sad too. Or even angry...

[breyley]

Being here doesn't put most people in a good mood. It makes sense if it's the same for the ghosts, but they must have been here longer to get like that.

[fluttersky]

I hope we can find a way to help them. Maybe that'll be enough to get us sent back home.

[breyley]

I wonder how we help ghosts? They don't really talk back much.

[fluttersky]

I wish I knew. But there's still time for us all to figure it out.
