Yeah, I heard about Snow becoming GM. I think that's a little absurd, but it is the NY Islanders and their owner, Charles Wang, has certianly shown his flair for doing things unconventionally. I think it will fail miserably. As for Yzerman, I like this move because he's given a certain amount of power, but there are checks and balances. I think he will strive to learn what he needs to know. I believe Yzerman wants to be a GM one day and eventually will, either here in Detroit or somewhere else.
It's good you don't know everything and that God does. Where would the fun be in unpredictability? In fact, I think it would be scary and almost a mental-suicide to know everything. This is a sick world and knowing all its workings would drive me to madness and sadness.
Hope you're having fun out in Minessota. Tell 'em they lucked out in that AL Central Division title. They were the benefactors of a Tiger choke job. And tell 'em that Oakland will win!
