(no subject)
The weather saturday was amazing...Helen and I spent the day in DUMBO taking pictures of her shoes and jewelry...it was a lot of fun! I was nervous at first about the whole photoshoot, because when I take pictures, it's always for myself, but this was the first time doing it for someone else (not counting for Marion). I think I got some good shots (i am hopeful anyway). Did you know that you can't take pictures in state parks?? There was a park ranger (at brooklyn bridge park - give me a break!) who was being a jerk, and because we were photographing shoes, he wouldn't let us shoot in the park b/c it's considered a 'wardrobe change'. grrr.
Otherwise, I ate so much this weekend! it is chinese new year (the year of the dog, 4703!) and on saturday night alice cooked a big hot pot meal. We played poker afterwards and I lost $3. shizzles. I'll be back with a vengeance this week. This morning sean and i had lunch at wo-hop with his family and just made it out of lunch in time to see the dragon parade in china town. There were crazy amounts of people on canal st; you could literally not move backwards or forwards at some points. Tonight we had a big banquet dinner at some restaurant in chinatown and now I am slipping into food coma...urgh...
