"I footed it with my push."

It's 4:30 am and I'm still coming off the acid. We went to the forbidden forest place near new campus and the boys smashed cinder blocks to shit and we laid inside a mesh tent like device used for discus or something and stared at the stars. I went on the beach 3 different times in 6 hours. The way the waves overcome the stony beaches amused us for hours as well as modern television muted with O.A.R. tunes.

The sky resembles a back lit canopy with holes punched in it
I lay against the wind, pretend that I am weightless
And in this moment I am happy, happy
I wish you were here

Acid is unique because a trip doesn't necessarily mean patterns and shapes moving every which way. For the first time I took a drug in moderation. No drinking or use of any other drugs besides pot. I was caught up entirely with word play and the atmosphere of certain places. Certain times I'd feel like a native in some ritual while I was outside then I'd feel like a little kid laughing hysterically over cartoons. I had a pretty decent time. I respect the complexity of LSD and I praise Albert Hoffman's 1943 discovery. He was the first to synthesize and ingest LSD and I think about his bike ride home. Next time I think I'll ride a bike.
