(no subject)
Today rocked. It's not often that I update this thing, mostly because I am too lazy. However, today merits an update.
Worked Tiger Day, which was a lot of fun. Mary Hutson and I stood/sat/did cartwheels in front of the French House for roughly 3.5 hours today. We had a great time, dispite some down time.
Then went to the game in the monsoon. Insert "THIS IS NOT MY HAPPY FACE!"
Once the group of us got thoroughly wet, we decided to head home before the game even started because of the possible delays of the game due to thunder. On the way back to the car, I think I lost my mind. It all started with the bunnyhop in the POORING down rain with drunk tailgaters. We just started trying to get even wetter and act more and more like third graders. We were running and jumping in every puddle possible and it was the greatest I have felt in such a long time. For that very short period in time, my life was stress free. Then, when we got home, Steph, Meg, and I changed clothes and went and played in the rain. PLAYED IN THE RAIN. It was amazing.
I miss being able to just have fun and let loose. I live so much of my life trying to please others that I cause undue stress where it is unneeded. Today, I was trying to make a decision which would normally be incredibly simple. But no. Not with me. I had to stress. I don't like that feeling. I just have to ask "what do you REALLY want to do?" and breathe. Breathing is critical. Im going to try this whole "what do you really want to do" thing more in the future. Who knows, maybe it will lead to some constructive decisions in my life.
Anyway, its time for bed. Im rambling. I have a day of studying and cleaning ahead of me tomorrow. Score. But hey, pumpkin carving is in there somewhere!
