Tickets may still be purchased at the gates but your best bet is to get one before hand.

Train is probly your fastest and best option to get to the showgrounds.. its just round the courner (see map and note below)
To Rapid
Take Train Route: IPCA - Ipswich to Caboolture (QR)
Departing 11:08am From Central Railway Station
Arriving 11:44am Lawnton Railway Station (just in time for the 1st of the bands)
Cost: Translink Single Adult Fare: $3.60, Translink Single Concession Fare: $1.80
Zones travelled in: 1-5
(Train goes every 30 min before and after this time)
From Rapid
Take Train Route: CAIP - Caboolture to Ipswich (QR)
Departing 10:23pm Lawnton Railway Station (late enought so you can see Magic Dirt)
Arriving 11:01pm Central Railway Station

Ok the showgrounds are rite in the middle of that map... the trainstation is just round the courner on station road (look up and left of the showgrounds.. its the little but fat black line on the long skinny black line)... there are trafic lights to cross gympie road PLEASE USE THEM! We dont want anybody crossing a 4 lane road anywhere but the lights... We at rapid festival are spending alot of money on trafic calming so you will be as safe as possible.. but that doesnt meen you can be silly. Entry to the showgrounds via gympie road.
