(no subject)
So, I'll be off to Buffalo, OK today. I've never even heard of that place. I'll end up in Elkhart, KS (never heard of this place either) on Thursday; it's WAY in the Southwestern corner of Kansas. I'm sort of excited. I'm not excited about sleeping alone for three days.
Last night I was sleeping and I heard Paul talking and woke up. We have the following conversation:
Paul: "The (some word that sounds to me like dead) zone! No, we come in through these two doors on the side.
Carrie: "What are you talking about?"
Paul: "The (this time it sounds like did) zone! You know those two doors?"
Carrie: "Did you just say Dead Zone?"
Paul: "No! The (this time it sounds like ding) zone!"
Carrie: "Am I alive right now? Are you sleeping?"
Paul: "No! Nevermind!"
Carrie: "Am I asleep?"
Paul: "I don't know!"
Carrie: "Don't talk to me anymore!"
It was the most bizarre thing, because when I woke up, he was looking right at me with his eyes open. I'm not sure if he was talking in his sleep to someone else or to me or was awake and confused. I was very confused.
