absentee voters . . . mount up!
i saw something on the news this morning and thought i would pass it along. this only applies to people who have registered to vote through the mail and have not voted in any election yet.
in michigan a person who registers to vote through the mail must vote for the first time in person at their local poling place. if you register to vote in person, however, you can cast your first vote through an absentee ballot.

next monday (october 4) at 5pm is the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming november election. if you haven't done so, stop by the secretary of state office and register.
