I'm tired of Phil's crap!
Wow, state went pretty well I think. I did really well overall except I bobbled some notes in American Overture that i've never had any problems with before. Oh and Phil smelled like an old man. I don't even care if he reads this, when we took a vote today, I voted not to let him back, the entire trombone section did. He doesn't deserve to be allowed back after 1. not coming to practice most of the week and 2. just getting up and leaving in the middle of rehearsal the DAY BEFORE THE STATE BAND CONTEST. If any other section in the band would have seen how he acts in band day to day, they probably would have voted the same. He just sits there looking like an idiot he doesn't play half the time, and even though he's the greatest trombone player ever (sic) his chops are always so busted he has to pull his mouthpiece out of his horn and just buzz stuff. I'm tired of it, and I can sorta understand just having him back for the state performance but I really don't think he deserves to come back to band on monday. Oh and I noticed in the warm up room that he was wearing that engraved 'Phil and Jenna' bracelet. Didn't she break up with him??????? WOW, that is rather pathetic. First of all, he's a SENIOR obsessed with his FRESHMAN girlfriend, second he's gonna leave for the marines in a couple of months, so what does it matter, before he knows it he'll be dropping soap in the shower. But that's just my two cents. But if anyone would like to speak their mind about Phil, here's the place to do it, even if you do it anonymously, I just wanna get some other people's take on this situation.
